Message from the President

Last year was a dark year in the Society. Because of a lack of coordination, organization, and mostly effort, the cigar society lost much of it's funding. We had but one event last year, a concert with Columbia Music Presents, CMP. It was a fun time, but not what the Society is about.

This year we plan on having some real events. We plan to have a few socials, where we just get together at a cigar lounge, have some cigars, and relax. We plan to go to Swing 46 again and we are going to have our annual cruise. This is our flagship event. We've held either one or two every year except last year. Our cruise, for those of you who do not know, is when we charter a three story party boat with two bars and a dance floor, and take it around the south end of Manhattan right next to the Statue of Liberty. Without a doubt, a fun time. Also, we hope to throw another party in Windows of the World. Yes, that's the one on the 107th floor of the World Trade Center.

I'm excited about this year. It's going to be fun, it's going to be exciting, and it's going to have some class.
