The Center for International History graduate student conference for 2009 will be held throughout the day on March 27 2009 around the theme of: 'Claiming the World: Universalisms as Doctrine and in Action', at the Maison Française at Columbia University. It will explore a diversity of historical subjects, places and times under this general framework, and will include papers by graduate students from around the USA and the world, as well as commentary from Columbia faculty.
