Subway
From Penn Station (34th Street), take line 1 uptown and get off at 116th Street (Columbia University). You may also take train 2 (express because it stops only at 42nd Street and 72th Street, but you have to change to line 1 at 96th Street). The main gate is by the station at Broadway. Get into the main gate and go left. You will see Schapiro Center near the 120th Street.

Taxi
Get off at 500 West 120th Street (near the intersection of 120th Street and Amsterdam Avenue). Then take the elevator to the 4th floor (for Schapiro Center) or to the 6th floor (for the Dept of Civil Engineering).
