Lingqi Yang and Prof. Yin published ''Parametric study of particle sedimentation by dissipative particle dynamics simulation'' in Physical Review E.

8/18/2014 Lingqi Yang has won the first place in the poster competition at EMI 2014.

The 2014 Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI) Conference of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), was held from August 5th through August 8th at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. Lingqi Yang has been a Ph.D. candidate in this group since Fall 2012, working under the direction of Prof. Huiming Yin. He won the first place in the competition for his poster, “Dissipative particle dynamics simulation of size effect on particle sedimentation toward functionally graded material fabrication.” The award included a $300 honorarium, and the certificate was presented at the conference banquet held at McMaster University, on August 7, 2014.
