Biography
Research Interests: Greek Poetry and Oratory; Ancient Rhetoric; Literary Theory
Publications: articles on drama and oratory and two books, one on conceptions of style in Greek literature and another (forthcoming) on insult talk and bodily excess in classical Athens. A new project studies metaphors of sense perception in Greek and Roman rhetorical treatises.
