Richard Evans, '86 GSAS(12/11/2006) Richard Evans reports: "I am now Chair of Classics at Holy Spirit Preparatory School and a faculty member of Holy Spirit College, a start-up, two year college program in Atlanta. We have a growing Greek program, currently offering through Greek III with more advanced courses contemplated, and, of course, the typical 8th -12th Latin curriculum. The Solidarity Foundation that funds the school just bought P 75 (Bodmer XIV and XV) which will be under the conservatorship of the Vatican. Since this purchase and transfer is very recent, I only know a bit about the particulars, but I will have access to the papyri for pedagogical purposes; that much I do know."
Paul Christesen, '01 GSAS(11/16/2006) Paul Christesen has been named one of the 2006 U.S. Professors of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
