Description:

The Columbia Table Tennis Club (CUTTC) seeks to promote the game of table tennis, bringing together Barnard, Columbia, SEAS and The School of General Studies students of different skills levels and interest. We meet twice a week and play for both leisure and training. Many of our club members advance to levels that qualify them to try out for the Columbia University Table Tennis Team. We always welcome newcomers and are excited to meet fellow ping-pong players. Come see what we’re all about at the Blue Gym on Thursday and Sunday nights!

Accomplishments:

The Women’s Team placed 7th and the Coed Team placed 17th at the 2008 National Collegiate Table Tennis Association Championships. In the year before, the Coed Team placed 3rd at the 2007 NCTTA Championships, good enough for a sponsorship from Killerspin, a leading provider of table tennis equipment. With an influx of talent this year, we hope to once again place in the top 3 spots in the nation amongst Coed Teams and be extremely competitive amongst Women’s Teams.
