Annually, 90% of high school seniors participating in Double Discovery graduate from high school on time and enter college the following fall semester, far surpassing city, state and national outcomes for low-income, first-generation college and minority students.

A 2008 evaluation measuring DDC student outcomes against comparison peer groups found:

• No DDC students dropped out of school compared to a 6% NYC dropout rate.
• 100% of our seniors graduated in 4 years, compared to a 62% NYC high school graduation rate.
• 87% of our graduating seniors enrolled in four-year colleges and universities.

And, surveyed DDC students cited “doing better in school” and help “deciding what to do with their lives” as the most important ways DDC helped them to accomplish their goals.
