Van Cortlandt Park is located in The Bronx, just north of the tip of Manhattan. Much cricket gets played here all summer long and it is where Columbia University C. C. plays its home games.

Take a copy of this map.

The directions to Van Cortlandt Park are:

***: Go over the bridge over the Harlem River (leaving Manhattan, now entering The Bronx) ($2 toll) and take exit 23 (Broadway). Turn right, (south) onto Broadway. You will see many pitches on your left. We will be playing on one of the pitches at the southern end of the park. (If you pass the Burger King, turn around and park).

Parking is a bit of a problem. Try to come in as few cars as possible.

We occasionally play on a pitch called "Stable Field". This pitch is separate from most of the park, and is in fact on the NORTH side of the Henry Hudson Parkway. So when you take exit 23, you should go left, rather than right, onto Broadway. Stable Field is now on your right. Take the next light right (Mosholu Ave) and you can park behind the ground.

Alternate:

If you are driving from Manhattan, Connecticut or New Jersey you can also take the Major Deegan (route I87) North from I95. From Connecticut you get to I87 just before you would enter Manhattan. From New Jersey, you stay on I95 after the GWB and take the first exit upon leaving Manhattan (on to I87). From Manhattan, take the Westside highway but get on to the Cross Bronx (I95) North then I87 north.

Take I87 north to Van Cortlandt Park South. Stay right and follow the exit around and over the highway, through the 1st light then swing right again, at the flashing light, onto Broadway. The grounds are just ahead on the right. (Note that this route puts you down at the other end of the ground to the route mentioned above.)
