A disappointing loss to the Mad Dogs in the 2006 Mini League Finals at CT last Saturday.

Long story short, Mad Dogs batted first scoring 225 with their top scorer Prasanna scoring 129 runs. He took a liking to CUCC's bowling especially of Ashok's, knocking 41 runs in 2 overs. Despite Mad Dogs getting all out in 34.1 overs with Venu taking 4 wickets, CUCC was only able to muster up 166 runs all out in 33.5 overs. Venu top scoring at 32 runs. Besides Venu, there were Ratesh, Arvind and Ashok scoring over 20 runs.

 

Everyone gave their 110%. Coming this far in the mini league, CUCC has nothing to be ashamed of. It was not meant to be for us this year. WE WILL WIN IT NEXT SEASON !!!....
