Our first defeat of the season with 3 50's going in
Vain. Ratesh bringing up his first ever fifty for CUCC. Sriram and Ratesh put a
100 run partnership for the opening wicket and we made 240 in 30 overs. We still
managed to loose the game with some horrible fielding and crucial catches
dropped. Biggest let off was the opener who scored 96 was dropped on 15 by Venu
in the deep. Then he was let off 2 more times. Vishnu bowled very well to pick
up 2 wickets, but it was too late by then. In the end sloppy fielding and
dropped catches cost us the game.
