This Thursday is CSC's annual Pool Tournament. There are still some slots available. First prize is 200 dollars!

CSC is proud to present Beyond Yao Ming: Asian Sport figures. It is our first Political Panel. Come out and support us next Monday!

BEYOND YAO-MING: Asian Sports Figures in American Society.

Ever wondered about stars like Michelle Kwan, Yao-Ming and Tiger Woods? Curious about Controversies and Commercialization? Or just HUNGRY for GREAT FOOD and intelligent discussion?

CSC's first ever Political Panel is hosted by Professor Gary Okihiro, the Director of the Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Race. His research interests are in Asian-American Studies and he is the author of several books. He is the recipient of the lifetime achievement award from the American Studies Association, and is a past President of the Association for Asian American Studies.

We've got: FREE FOOD--sports themed goodies like Crackerjacks, hot-dogs,
(root) beer, and much much more.

7. Pace University Inter-Collegiate Karaoke (PICK)

Pace Inter-Collegiate Karaoke takes place in 2004 in April, 2004. Pace Inter-Collegiate Karaoke (PICK) is one of the most popular annual events in Pace University. PICK is a singing contest, which involves Pace University and other NYC colleges. In this singing contest, each school selects its own representative to compete for the grand prize.

Since 1994, United Chinese Student Association in Pace University, New York City has held this exciting event for almost ten years. If you are interested in participating in this event, please feel free to contact me at (646) 346-9860 or email me doraemonmichelle@nyc.rr.com. I will be glad to answer your questions.

The deadline of signing up is Jan. 1, 2004.

8. Operation Smile

Operation Smile is an international organization that raises money for their doctors, who focus on performing surgeries on children (and some
adults) with physical deformities in developing countries. If you are interested in becoming a member, or are a leader of an organization that would be interested in working in conjunction with Operation Smile for fundraising, please come to our first general meeting and see what Op Smile is all about!!
