for a Fair Contract is an independent entity whose purpose is to work with
campus unions and the university for a fair contract. All individuals
and groups are welcome to work with us toward this end. |

On October 31st 1997, the local
2110 voted to accept a contract with the university that had been agreed
on by negotiators the previous night. The 2110 homepage holds the details of the outcome of the strike. Students
for a Fair Contract appreciates the hardships which striking union members
endured and admires the determination which they posessed while struggling
to achieve fair working conditions.
