The Cummings and Fetzer Lectures on "Meditative and Contemplative States" Four scholars explore objective knowledge and subjective experience to discuss the complex interactions between meditation, wisdom, religion, and health. These four presentations will allow an audience to understand meditative and contemplative states from the points of view of medicine, education, psychiatry, and religion. Each lecture will begin at 6 p.m. and be followed by a small reception and book signing. The lectures are free and open to the public.
