About Practice & Research

This issue of Practice & Research commemorates the contributions of the Center's Founding Director, Dr. Shirley Jenkins. While many of us have fond memories of Shirley, this newsletter includes personal comments from individuals who had special relationships with her, and knew of her work at the Center, We are grateful to each for their willingness to share remembrances of her. The Center's successful conference on Practice & Research: Bridging the Gap, held on March 8, 1991 was a fitting culmination of Shirley's professional work.
