The Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Mark Mattaini, CUSSW, as Associate Director. Dr. Mattaini has been involved with Center activities for the past four years, and has been a leading figure in the development of the Patient Profile Study. He is also Co-Coordinator of the Center's Practice Development Studies Project.
Dr. Mattaini has twenty years of experience in the human services. He received a B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1971, an M.S.W. from Columbia University in 1990. His practice experience in Utah and Alaska includes family and children's services, addictions, and mental health, in both clinical practice and administration. He brings to the Center a unique combination of previous and current practice and research methodology.
