Fundraising

We put the FUN in the word Fundraising!! Although recognized by ABC, AMSA is currently unfunded. Bringing in speakers and holding student discussion panels can be expensive, and the Fundraising committee is dedicated to bringing in funds. Last semester, we held a highly successful bake sale. Ideas for this semester’s ventures include writing proposals for local grants from the national AMSA organization, selling donuts on college walk, holding a subsidized dinner, and a reverse auction with Kaplan.

BOARD
Be more involved at a hands-on level with AMSA! The Fundraising committee is currently looking for an Executive Board – enthusiastic members who want to help AMSA raise money and network with other premeds! Interested? Apply at the general meeting on February 11, 8:30-9:30, Lerner C555.

Available positions:

1. Vice President (mainly helping President with organization of events)
2. Secretary (keep track of minutes at meetings, keeping up to date with events)

The E-board will meet once a week; anyone who would like to attend will be more than welcome.
