Short Film Grants Competition
We are proud to announce the very first annual CUFP Short Film Grants Competition.
Eligibility: Columbia undergraduate students (CC, SEAS, GS and Barnard)
Students will submit a film proposal to a panel of judges, composed of Columbia's film faculty and students from Columbia's graduate film division. From these submissions, three winners will be chosen, with monetary grants being awarded as follows:
First place grant: $500
Second place grant: $300
Third place grant: $200
The winners of the contest will use his or her awarded money towards production costs of his or her film project. Expenses will be monitored by the CUFP Executive Board. Recipients are allowed to use additional funds towards their project. The three films will be showcased in the
Spring CUFP Film Festival.
The deadline for submission is October 15, 2007. Applications should
be dropped off in the CUFP mailbox, located on the fifth floor of
Lerner Hall.
