Columbia University Orchestra
Welcome to the official website of the Columbia University Orchestra.
Founded by composer Edward MacDowell in 1896, the Columbia University Orchestra is the oldest continually operating university orchestra in the United States. The principal mission of the Orchestra is to expose talented student musicians to the highest level of orchestral repertoire.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays at 6:30-9:30 p.m. in Lerner Hall, Rm. 555.
Audition information for the Fall 2015 Semester will available in Summer 2015. If you are interested in joining the Columbia University Orchestra, please audition at the start of Fall of 2015.
