Remember Sichuan

After almost five months, some people may have forgotten about the Sichuan Earthquake disaster. Please attend and support the first Chinese Students Club event this year to raise awareness and dollars to help rebuild China's Sichuan after a deadly earthquake. On May 12, a powerful earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale struck Sichuan province in southwestern China, killing over 70,000 people (as of June 13, 2008). As the Columbia community, we can all help by coming to this event and simply donating money to help reconstruction efforts in Sichuan! Proceeds will go to the special disaster relief funds established by the United Way Sichuan Earthquake Fund.
