CWBS Buddy Program - Accepting mentors now!
Below is our latest CWBS initiative, and we are looking for any current female CU juniors and seniors student with experience in the following areas:
Marketing (digital, print, analytics, branding),
Finance--Other, (Public, Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Wealth Management),
Please consider signing up to be a mentor in our CWBS Buddy Program! The buddy program is an informal mentoring program where active younger members of CWBS are paired with upperclasswomen leaders of the Columbia Community. Mentors are expected to meet at least once with their mentee(s) (coffee, pinkberry, ferris, lerner ramps, etc). Possible topics mentors can help with are: summer internships, finding a major, thinking about future career trajectories and resources, and adjusting to college life in general.

As one of our most anticipated events of the year, CWBS’ BNP Paribas Women’s Roundtable features five BNP women in an animated and intimate conversation on what it’s like to be a woman in finance.

Co-hosted by the Center for Career Education, this industry showcase aimed to cover what consultants do and featured firms such as Oliver Wyman, Strategy&, McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, and Bain for a night of networking and candid discussion.

The JP Morgan analyst recruiting team invited a select group of CWBS members out to dinner in the city with some of their top female bankers.
Interview and Resume Workshop, with Credit Suisse
Recruiters presented some insider interview tips, staged a mock version of a successful interview and provided one-on-one advice on the perfect cover letter/resume.
