Columbia Cycling Alumni

Friends of the team and alumni of Columbia, tell us who you are! Once per month we send out an update on what the team's been up to and this fall we're planning a special event for you. Tell us you're on our wheel.

6/18 - If you live in the Boston area and would like to come see us race, we will be taking on the country's top bike racers at the 51st Annual Fitchburg Longsjo Classic. It's a stage race that runs from July 2-5 and takes place in and around Fitchburg, MA. If you are going to be in the area and would like to come meet the team or go on a short training ride with us, contact the club VP.

6/5 - The cycling team took part in the 2010 Columbia Alumni weekend by hosting a ride for any alumni in town. Thunderstorms threatened but the rain held off as we went for a little jaunt up River Road to Piermont. The alumni in attendance told us stories about what collegiate cycling was like back in the 1980s and showed us that old guys can really hammer, when they choose to.
