Chinese Language Teaching: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
In the 60-plus years since Professor Y.R. Conference aims:
• We will pay respect to our history with a perspective toward building our future.
o What were the defining moments in the history of our profession? How will we build upon them going forward?
• We will salute those who started as students and went on to become the master teachers of their day.
• We will recognize those who have helped advance our profession through research and development fields such as Applied Linguistics, Theoretical Linguistics, technological educationalists, Information Librarians, as well as the publishing industry, new media, etc.
o How have advancements in these industries supported the teaching profession?
