Placement Test

The placement test is held the Thursday of the week prior to the first week of each semester.

Exact time and room number can be found in the department main office of 407 Kent Hall (212) 854-5027 or on the bulletin board next to 404 Kent Hall.

The test is usually held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. The results of the test will be posted on the same day on the bulletin board next to 404 Kent as well as in front of 407 Kent. According to the results of the test, students will be placed in the appropriate level. Students planning to take the placement test should register with the department at least one day before the test.
