Columbia University Economics Challenge
Columbia Economics Society is hosting its very first Economics Challenge on April 6th in Hamilton! There will be 4 to 5 teams, each representing a European country, debating on
the benefits and downfalls of the Tobin Tax on financial transactions. If you are interested in joining the competition, please form a group of 3 or 4 people and email
your names and contact info to coeconchallenge@gmail.com so that we can send you information regarding the event.
Potential awards include free economics textbooks for next semester, Mel's gift cards, or lunch with two Columbia Economics professors and a Merrill Lynch representatives!

Columbia University Corporate Valuation Challenge
The Columbia Economics Society will be hosting its inaugural intercollegiate Corporate Valuation Challenge. This challenge will entail the valuation of a relevant company through a presentation. There will be 6-8 teams attending the event. The winning team will be awareded a free dinner with our respected judges.

Econ versus Poli-Sci Capture the Flag Game
Are you sick of hearing from your poli sci friends about how amazing their major is? Think that Economics is better than Political Science? Battle it out at our second
annual Poli Sci-Econ Rivalry Game! We'll be playing capture the flag to decide which department rules the IAB. Professors and TAs are invited - be sure to encourage yours to

Columbia University Case Challenge
The Columbia Economics Society hosts its annual Case Challenge! To participate, please form teams of two to four students to participate in a daylong case challenge. The winning team will be rewarded with a free dinner with our esteemed judges (Columbia professors and senior analysts at various consulting firms).
When: Saturday, April 21st, from 10am to 6pm
