The CJLC is looking for papers in the humanities that exhibit strong theses, internal coherence, and an engagement with academic scholarship. Each paper will be edited by a group of editorial board members over the course of the school year in preparation for publication in April.

There is a 20 page maximum for paper length. Each student may submit up to three papers. Submit via email to submittocjlc@gmail.com.

Submissions should include:

1. A cover page with the student's name, class, major, e-mail, and phone number. The last four digits of your telephone number will be used as an identification number; all authors will remain anonymous during the selection process. To that end, no identifying information should appear on the other pages of the submission. Please place the last four digits of your telephone number on the top right hand corner of each page and number all pages.

2. After the cover page, please include an abstract of the paper. The abstract should be no longer than one page.

The deadline to submit a paper is Friday, October 15, 2010 at midnight.

Accepted contributors will be notified by November.
