THE RICHMOND B. WILLIAMS TRAVELING FELLOWSHIP

This fellowship supports a student undertaking a summer research project requiring foreign travel.

Who is eligible?
Any Columbia College English major who is currently completing the junior year may apply.

Monday, March 22, 2004 by 5 pm in 602 Philosophy

What does the application include?
(1) A statement (300 words) describing the proposed research project
(2) Two faculty recommendations
(3) The signature of a professor who has agreed to sponsor the project


What academic responsibility does the fellowship entail?
Students who are awarded this fellowship write up the results of their research in an independent study during their senior year.
