Every CUET member volunteers their time with disabled children in equine therapy through our partner, Pony Power of New Jersey.

Pony Power of New Jersey, Inc. was founded to provide equine assisted therapy to children and adults with autism, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, and multiple handicaps.

Through a safe, nurturing environment, riders on horseback can gain more flexibility, balance and muscle strength. On the ground and in a group individuals can explore and develop unique relationships with the horse which can lead to increased confidence, patience and self-esteem and foster feelings of independence and pride.
