Columbia offers excellence in academics and in fencing. We are always looking for talented student-athletes to join us. It is important to know that the strength of the team comes from both attracting experienced high school fencers and helping them develop. We are able to provide each fencer, regardless of her or his prior experience, with the environment to reach full potential.

If you are planning to compete in Varsity sports at any Division I or Division II College, you must be cleared by the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Clearing House. This should be taken care of during your senior year of high school. (It is strongly suggested that this be taken care of no later than the beginning of the last term of high school.) Please be aware that you may not be contacted by the coaches until the first of September of your Junior Year of High School, and then only in writing. Telephone and personal contact may not occur prior to the first of July after the completion of your Junior Year in High School. Prior to these times, you may contact the admissions offices of whichever school you are interested.
