The Department of French offers several graduate programs of study: the M.A. in French, the Ph.D. in French, and, in cooperation with the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society, the Ph.D. in French and Comparative Literature. UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT RESOURCES

The Department of French and Romance Philology is pleased to offer its undergraduate students a wide array of courses and two major degree options. Students can choose from a large menu of courses ranging from elementary French language to advanced literature or cultural studies, and between the French Language and Literature major or the French and Francophone Studies major.
