Angélique Aristondo received her academic training in France. She holds a BA in Philosophy (Université François Rabelais, Tours, 2007) and a MA in Information Communication (Université Jean Moulin, Lyon, 2009). Her Master’s thesis was a social study of the Media’s non specialist audience related to the practical analysis of the editing techniques used to reach out this public. She then worked as a journalist and web editor for a couple of years in Paris. She was a lecturer at Saint John’s University in 2011-2012, and at Fordham University in 2012-2013.
