2007 FGSA Conference

Directions to Columbia University and Travel Information

« Car je est un autre » : Articulations du rapport entre identité et altérité will be taking place on April 6, 2007 from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm at the Maison Française of Columbia University.

Directions to Campus:

The Maison Française of Columbia University is located to the East of Low Memorial Library, in the heart of Columbia University's Morningside Campus.

To get to the Department, take the 1 subway to 116th street. Enter the campus at the 116th street entrance, proceed past Miller theatre and up the main steps towards Low Memorial Library. Heading East, you will see a red-brick building, which is the Maison Française (also known as Buell Hall). To enter the Maison, go to the North side of the building. The conference will be held in the East Wing, located on the ground floor.

Getting to Manhattan:

Three main airports and several train stations serve the New York City area. There are many ways to get into the city, ranging from buses to trains and taxis to shuttle services. The following web site may be of use: ground transportation list.
