The Salons

The Department of French and Romance Philology hosts two separate Salons, one dealing with topics related to Early Modern literature, the other focusing on issues surrounding the Modern period. Though the two groups are organized slightly differently, they both seek to further lively discussion of topics germane to their members' areas of specialization.

Each group is run by graduate students and hosts scholars and other guests throughout the semester.

Please select the group that interests you below. You will be taken to the corresponding web site, where you will be able to find out how to join, contact the coordinator and see a schedule of upcoming guests and topics.
