Ferris Reel Film Society is a student-run club activity supported by the Activities Board at Columbia (ABC). Considered a "major programmer" by the Office of Student Activities, the club organizes a feature film screening on Thursday nights in Roone Arledge Cinema in Lerner Hall on the Columbia University campus. The films chosen are usually mainstream works from both the US and abroad, or advanced screenings of mainstream films before their general release date. Films range across all genres, including action, suspense, drama, romance, fantasy, and comedy. Ferris Reel is run by its executive board, listed below. The general membership includes over five hundred undergraduate and graduate students, making FRFS one of the largest student groups at Columbia. For more information, read the FRFS Official Constitution.
