Volume 2, Number 3 -- December/January 1994


While some people might develop a complex if 20,000-plus runners passed them in a footrace, not this bunch of Columbians. At the invitation of Debbie Bell (in tux), some members of the lesbigay community joined the Frontrunners Club in distributing thousands of cups of water and Gatorade--and lots of applause--at Mile 25 during the 25th running of the New York City Marathon last month.

Community News is published monthly during the academic year by women and men of Columbia University's lesbian, bisexual, and gay community. We thank GABLES-CU and the Offices of Provost and Campus Programs for providing financial and moral support.
