New LBGQ Newsgroup

A new newsgroup (bulletin board) for Columbia's LBGQ community went live on January 22. Users of the newsgroup must have a columbia.edu email address. The newsgroup is columbia.org.lbgq. To subscribe to the newsgroup, type pine at the $ sign. At the main menu, select FOLDER LIST. In the folder list, choose News-collection , then type A to subscribe. When asked for the group, type columbia.org.lbgq. Upon completion, you can read or post messages to the newsgroup. Remember, you must have a columbia.edu email address in order to use the newsgroup.
