Friday, 10/4, First-Friday D/ance, 10pm to 2am, Earl Hall. Admission
is $8, or $5 with a college ID. Columbia, Barnard, and NYU students
with a valid ID pay only $3 before 11pm. This dance, featuring the
music of DJ Austin Downey, marks the beginning of the LBGC's 30th
Anniversary celebration.
Wednesday, 10/16, 5:30pm, Gay, Bisexual, Lesbian, Faculty, Staff, and their
Supporters at Columbia University (GABLES-CU), first general meeting of
the 1996-97 academic year, 833 Butler Library.
Special
Saturday, 10/5, Lesbian, Bisexuals, Gays, and Transgender Community at
Teachers College (LBGTC), Discussion Group, discussion brunch. This
Saturday's brunch will be held at Main Street, 446 Columbus Avenue
(between, 81st & 82nd Streets). Either meet in the Whittier Lobby at
11:30am, or go directly to the restaurant. Brunch is Dutch--pay for
what you eat.
Monday, 10/7, 5:30pm, Lesbian, Bisexuals, Gays, and Transgender Community
at Teachers College (LBGTC), hosts opening reception for the photo-exhibit
"Love Makes A Family: Living in Lesbian and Gay Families" in Main Hall
Student Lounge. The exhibit runs in Main Hall Student Lounge through
October 19. (See calendar on page one)
