Thursday, October 10th 9am - 4pm: NCOD Observance by the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA)—4th floor lobby of the International Affairs Building (IAB). 8pm: "Coming-Out: A Round-table Discussion" LBGC organized this event which explored issues involving questioning one's sexual orientation; wanting to come out but not sure where to start; and gay experiences including a whole range of issues pertaining to the coming out process. The round-table discussion was held in the Furnald Gay Lounge. 9:30pm: Movie Screening: The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love - shown in the John Jay Lounge. Midnight: Chalking of College Walk, and East and West Walks with words and symbols of queer pride (organized by LBGC). Friday, October 11th (NCOD) 10am - 5pm: Pink Triangle Madness! - LBGC's table on College Walk where a free Pink Triangle button was distributed to both queer and straight folk. 4pm: Movie Screening: Outrage '69 - a documentary about the Stonewall Riots which sparked the formation of the gay liberation movement - shown in 754 Schermerhorn Extension (organized by the Queer Studies Group). 7pm: Happy Hour at Greenwich Village's Bar D'O (organized by QIPASA). 9pm: National Coming Out Day Coffee House at the Postcrypt Coffeehouse (basement of St. Paul's Chapel) presented singers Dara Barlin, Connie Lofton and Laura Wolfe.
