Internship Stipend Program

The Office of Government and Community Affairs is happy to announce the 2013 Congressional Internship Stipend Program for Columbia College , SEAS, and GS students.  It is important to note that the application must be handed in complete.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.  Please review the applicationand forward any questions you may have to Karen Jewett, Vice President, Government and Community Affairs @ kej1@columbia.edu.

The stipend is available to students who will be interning in Washington, DC.

Stipend recipients should also have received Pell Grants during the academic year.

If you have yet to be accepted by a Congressional office, the Columbia Congressional Internship Program will confirm that you have applied to Congressional Offices in Washington, D.C.  You will still be considered for a summer stipend, even if you have not received final acceptance from the Congressional offices.
