Columbia University Libraries Celebrate Constitution Day 2011
Columbia 's Rare Book and Manuscript Library holds an impressive collection of John Jay's papers, including Jay's original draft of essay Number 5 of the Federalist Papers, a copy of the first bound volume of the Federalist Papers published in 1788, letters to and from George Washington and Alexander Hamilton, and more.
