7th Annual Food Drive Campaign
October 23, 2012 - November 19, 2012The Office of Government and Community Affairs is holding its Annual Food Drive from October 23 to November 19, 2012, supporting food pantries serving West Harlem and Morningside Heights. Last year’s drive netted over 400 pounds of food for the Jackie Robinson Senior Center, Cathedral Cares, and Broadway Presbyterian Food Pantry. Your generous donations assisted those in the most desperate need and we would like to count on that support again this year. This year, for our 7th Annual Food Drive we have set a goal of 500 pounds of non-perishable foods.
Here’s how you can help:
Donate non-perishable foods in the marked boxes at these collection points:
Low Library Room 309
Low Library Room 302
While all non-perishable foods are welcome, the pantries are in particular need of the following:
Canned tuna, ham, chicken, turkey or beef
Rice
Peanut butter and jelly
Fruit Juice
Cereal
Soup
Beans – dried or canned
Fruit and vegetables - canned
Macaroni and cheese
Sugar and flour
Boxed meals
Coffee, tea and drink mix
Pasta and pasta sauces
Thank you for your continued support!
