Post-Doctoral Fellows : Xifang Sun
Xifang Sun received her Ph.D degree in economics at Peking University in July, 2007. She is
most interested in the research on financial structure and economic
development. The financial systems are highly heterogeneous across countries,
some of which have active financial markets while some others rely on a few
banks to provide financial services. It's a very interesting topic tounderstand the causes for the difference in financial structure and itspossible effect on economic development.Her other research interests include theinstitutional evolution in transitional economies, especially in China.
