Columbia College
Columbia College
Columbia College, founded in 1754, is a residential, small liberal arts college within Columbia University. Students choose from almost 80 programs of study in addition to fulfilling Columbia College’s unique Core Curriculum, a single set of discussion-based seminars in literature, philosophy, art, music, and science that has been the centerpiece of a Columbia College education for almost 100 years.
Application Process
Students apply using the Common Application and Columbia Supplement by January 1, 2012, for fall 2012 Regular Decision admission. For admissions requirements please visit the Columbia College Admissions website.
While both Columbia College and the Dual BA Program provide a rigorous liberal arts education to an accomplished group of students, the experience of obtaining that education will be very different depending on which program students select.
  • Students who desire a traditional, four-year, residential college experience should consider Columbia College.
  • Students with a strong interest in French language and culture and a desire for a global, nontraditional college experience that combines the academic rigor of two world-renowned universities should consider the Dual BA Program.
Please note: Students may not apply to both Columbia College and the Dual BA Program.
We encourage you to review the Dual BA Program website and the Columbia College admissions website and to contact us with any questions at [email protected] (Dual BA Program) or [email protected] (Columbia College).
Thank you for your consideration and for supporting your students through their college search process. Best wishes for the school year!
Sincerely,
Jessica Marinaccio Curtis Rodgers
