The Campaign for GS

The Campaign for GS is part of the University-wide Columbia Campaign, which aims to build Columbia’s capacity to lead—to bring the very best thinking to bear on the issues of the day, attract student and faculty talent, foster creativity, discover what we don’t know, apply what we do know, and educate new generations of leaders in every field and profession.

Gifts to the School of General Studies help solidify its preeminence as one of the nation’s most innovative educational enterprises, a college designed specifically to meet the needs of nontraditional students. Through the generosity of alumni and friends, GS can continue to build its endowment for long-term stability and growth, serve the immediate needs of its outstanding students and faculty, and strengthen financial aid as well as other programs that greatly enhance academic life.
