Admissions

The School of General Studies welcomes applications from veterans and active military personnel. For a complete list of admissions procedures, see the Admissions section of the GS website.

Although it is not required to do so, some applicants choose to submit an official military transcript. For information on obtaining a transcript, consult the appropriate website:

Justin White, a former U.S. Marine, earned his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the School of General Studies in 2005. In May 2007 he graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
