Part-Time Program Sequence*
A Postbac Premed student beginning part-time with the most basic courses might take the following program. Until the third summer, one could continue to work a full-time job.

*There are many ways to design an academic program and schedule that best meets a student's needs, however, the following is a common example of a part-time sequence for the Postbac Premed Program:

Second Fall
Second Spring

THIRd Fall
Third Spring
Third Summer
Fourth Fall

Begin Traditional Program

Fourth Spring
Fourth Summer
  • Take MCAT
  • Begin medical school applications
FIFTH Fall

Glide Year

  • Deepen exposure to science coursework, research or clinical work

 

Fifth Spring

Glide Year

  • Deepen exposure to science coursework, research or clinical work
