The insertion of 7 storey buildings on Broadway allow for the transformation of the city street into an interior boulevard. These buildings have a maximum height limit to ensure that the visual link to the street below is not compromised.

Programmatically a number of sites are linked in a lacing pattern between the opposite sides of the street to reinforce the presence of the street corridor. Broadway is swept into the buildings which act as a continuation of the street - an interior boulevard situating commercial, community and educational activities and events. The links between these pieces are programmatic in some instances, physical in other instances, and visual or implied at other moments.

The mysteries of the private life of the beast and the box become the details which are revealed in this passing landscape.
