Degree Requirements

For the Ph.D. Degree

Although the student must meet the minimum formal Ph.D. requirements set by the department in which he or she is registered, the bulk of the program for the specialty is arranged in consultation with a member of the Committee on Materials Science and Engineering/Solid-State Science and Engineering.
