Completion of Requirements

Candidates are expected to complete the requirements for the Liberal Studies M.A. degree within five years of entering the program. If you find that a compelling reason-an extended period of poor health, for example-requires that you temporarily discontinue course work, you may be granted a leave of absence. The leave will not be counted as part of the time allowed for the completion of requirements. Application for a leave should be made to the director.
