The Courses

Updated lists of approved courses for the individual Liberal Studies M.A. programs are available in the Liberal Studies office during the autumn and spring registration periods. Students should consult this list before registering; there are often last-minute changes, additions, and deletions in the course offerings. This list should be consulted in conjunction with the Columbia University Directory of Classes (available on the Web at http://www.columbia.edu/cu/bulletin/uwb/); the two together provide the most current information on the final course offerings.

The Approved Courses for Fall 2008 can be found here.
This is a preliminary list for all programs within LSMA. Course locations and times may change so please consult Columbia Web Directory of classes. It is also good to visit the web directory for the most up-to-date classes. Any courses which are not included on the approved course list require approval from the Program Coordinator. Courses taken without prior approval may not count towards the degree program.

Summer courses and course descriptions are found in the Columbia University Summer Session bulletin, published in the spring of each year. Summer Session bulletins are available from the Student Services Center, Columbia University, Lewisohn Hall, Room 203, Mail Code 4112, 2970 Broadway, New York, NY 10027, or by telephoning (212) 854-2820.
